Lately, I’ve been obsessed with anything farmhouse, country, or rustic. Ironically, growing up I always swore to myself that I’d never decorate my house in a country style. Well, I guess I did just that. However, country decor sure has changed over the years and with HGTV and shows like Fixer Upper, it’s really making a comeback.
I put together this farmhouse inspired design board with items all from Target.com and true to my style – it’s all neutral.
I couldn’t beleive Target had pendant lights and a portable island. They are relatively inexpensive and I’m sure the quality is good, based on my experience with other Target furniture.
I love this little cart – weathered wood, cup pull handles, and beautiful gray top. Metal baskets on bottom would look great for extra storage.
I have seen these barstool several times on Fixer Upper, they have just the right farmhouse mixed with industrial look.
These caged pendants with Edison Bulls are so charming!
This is actually a plastic placemat, but put into a frame, it becomes instant art! And for the price, it doesn’t get any better!
I’m obsessed with this iron scale! So many decor possibilities. It would be the perfect item for decorating during seasons and seasonal decor could be switched out easily.
Do you like the new Farmhouse trend? Some would say it’s timeless; others trendy. I think as long as you have some pretty basic furniture pieces, accessories and other decor items can always be switched out to keep up with trends. Personally, I think this look will be around for quite along time. What do you think?
