With the cooler weather, I’ve been working on our fall entryway and fall decor for other parts of the house. I still haven’t done our front porch, but plan on doing that today or tomorrow. No houses in our neighborhood have been decorated yet, but it will be October soon so I think I can get away with it! Honestly, I don’t even have a plan but usually that works best for me. I just use what I have until it looks right. Today, I wanted to share our fall entryway…
I switched out the lamps, added some wire baskets full of white pumpkins & pinecones, a wheat bundle, and some fun decor from my Instagram friends, including the arrow from Rustic Nest.
The lamps are from Target and were originally a wood color, I painted them with chalk paint to match my mirror. The “hello fall” sign is from my friend Alyssa at CA Sign Design.
I switched out my boxwood wreaths for an oversized acorn from Marshall’s and a cotton wreath from Decor Steals. I also love keys and they hold a special place in mine and Joe’s hearts, so I add them into our home where ever I can.
I’ve mentioned before in previous posts how large our entry way is. This space will always challenge me, but I have fun with it. As of now, I’m on a mission to find the perfect rug. I’ve tried four different ones but nothing seems right. I’m not giving up and know eventually I will find the perfect one.
Another basket full of white pumpkins makes my heart happy, I swear I could have white pumpkins in every corner of our house, maybe be the end of the Fall season I will!
One of my favorite purchases is this autumn pillow from Bows and Burlap. A cute fabric pumpkin from Marshall’s and a faux pumpkin from Michael’s finish off the bench. Um, did I mention I like pumpkins?
I realize I have a different style than most for Fall. I’m a neutral loving girl, so you won’t see any orange and red in my house, but I still like to decorate for the season.
What do you think? Are you more of a traditional decorator for the holidays or have you fallen into the neutral spell too? Share with me!
