Hello! I was not planning on doing a tour this year, but I’ve been so inspired by my fellow bloggers and Instagram friends, I decided to do a little something – short and sweet. Hope you enjoy!
Starting outside, I used a $3 garland from Target’s OneSpot and shaped it into a wreath and added some red ornaments. I then used some twine to hang it. I made two, so there is one on each side of the garage.
Walking up to our front door, I added some $3 Target OneSpot pillows to our already existing red pillows. Patio chairs are from Lowes and are so comfortable. Large snowflakes from an after Christmas sale last year were added to the lanterns. I also got some light up twig trees last year and couldn’t wait to put them up. They line our walkway and look so pretty lit up at night!
We decided not to hang any Christmas lights this year. I didn’t start decorating till the first week of December and hanging lights is a lot of work to only be enjoyed for a short period. Our plan is to buy the lights after Christmas this year on sale, and start decorating next year a few weeks earlier!
My DIY tomato cage trees flank our front door. I found Two Twenty Ones tutorial on Pinterest and was excited to finally try it out. I knew I would have to use red ornaments to match our red front door. I’m so glad I did, such a pop!
Love them all lit up at night! So pretty!
But this has to be my favorite view this year! I shared this picture on Instagram because it’s just so welcoming when I come home.
Hang your keys and your coat! Jingle bells were $5 at Target.
Our entry table. I’m not sure if I’m done with it yet, but for now it’ll do. Just think it needs a little something but I haven’t quite figured it out.
Another view of the tree. I love this spot for it, you can see it in almost every space of the house!
This Christmas I DIY’ed a lot. Almost all the ornaments and this cute stocking ladder I made myself. Because we don’t have a fireplace, I had to think of another solution to hang our stockings.
The ladder turned out great and works well. I also plan on using it after Christmas for blankets. The large jingle bells are from Target OneSpot and tied together with twine.
Love a neutral and rustic Christmas.
Using a clearance frame from Marshalls, some chalkboard paint, and a chalk marker – I created the perfect backdrop for my collection of snow globes.
In the kitchen I added some JOY block letters and small tree with twine ornaments.
I also have a small tree in the dining room. If your counting that makes three trees so far. Haha. Next year I plan on having another!
And last but not least are my dining shelves. There is a previous blogpost with all the details.
Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Everything turned out beautiful, Allison! My personal fav is your ladder that you made. I hope you keep it out year round, maybe as a blanket holder or something. It's too wonderful to pack away! Thanks for sharing your tour!
Thanks Iris! That is my plan 🙂
I am sooo in love with those shelves in the dining room!
