Easter is just around the corner, so I recently started adding little touches of Spring and Easter decor around the house. I like things simple, quick, and easy! This little DIY wreath was just that!
The shelf I picked up at Marshalls last summer. It hangs in our entry way and is the best $12 I’ve ever spent. During the winter months we hung jackets, hats and scarves on it, but now that the weather is warming up – I can finally use it for pretty things!
All of the decor items are from The Dollar Spot at Target, and all together only cost me $9. I could have even bought a box of chalk for a $1 for the chalkboard sign, but I already had a chalkboard marker. Personally I prefer the markers because it doesn’t rub off easily. I use regular chalk to practice, and once I’ve got it right I’ll go over it with the marker. I figured “hello” was fitting for the entry way.

Next, I started on the grapevine wreath. It was only $3 and already had some twine wrapped around it. I decided to add more. The paper mâché eggs were also $3 and came with 6. I decided to only use 3, and create a grouping at the bottom of the wreath. I attached them with a hot glue gun.
Easy and simple Easter decor that I can leave up all thru Spring! What do you think? Do you like to decorate for each holiday or season? Do you go all out or just add little touches?
