Hello and Happy Thursday! Yesterday, while shopping at Target, I bought some amazing hooks that will be going in our hall bathroom to replace the “builder grade” towel bar. Slowly, but surely I’ve been getting rid of everything “builder” starting with the light fixtures (blog post coming soon on that), and now I’ve moved on to the bathrooms. These hooks inspired me to create a neutral bathroom for this weeks Target Thursday.
I love everything neutral, but most importantly I think bathrooms should be as light and bright as possible. Most bathrooms, only have one window or no windows at all. So, the lighter the decor items, the more bright the room will look. Keep it airy.
These cabinets are very popular, and I can see why with their classic design and versatility. Actually, we have a navy colored one in our master bedroom. The cabinet provides storage for almost everything. In a bathroom, it would be great for towels and extra toiletries.

I have seen this mirror in stores and it is gorgeous. It is large enough to replace a mirror in a small bathroom, with one vanity. Or two would work great, if you have a double vanity. Replacing “builder” mirrors is one of the first things to update a bathroom for a more custom look.
The hooks! Aren’t they amazing? I thought about DIY’ing some, but for this price, I just couldn’t pass them up. And now if the towels are hanging on hooks instead of the bar, I don’t have to worry about folding them just perfectly or worrying when someone messes them up.
Since I’ve already mentioned towels, these are the ones used in the design board. I personally have both of them, and love the sophistication they bring to the room. The bath mat is a Nate Berkus item, and its perfectly neutral with just the right amount of texture.
If the cabinet or hooks aren’t enough storage for you, this galvanized bin would look so cute with some rolled up towels inside. Lately, I’ve been drawn to everything galvanized and this is no exception. So many storage possibilities with this piece!
Last, but not least – the decor items. Decor for bathrooms can be tricky, you don’t want to have too much or too little. Items that can be pretty and functional are the best. As always, add a little greenery to bring some life to the room.
What do you think about the look? Do you plan on buying any of these items? If you do, I’d love to see them! Share with me on Instagram or Facebook.
