A fall tablescape is one of my favorite things to admire on Pinterest. I was kind of dreading this post, because I never thought of tablescapes as my strength. I’m more of a shelfie kind of girl, haha. 🙂 I decided to use what I had around the house and surprised myself. I love it and I want to leave this out until Thanksgiving!
I used everything I already had around the house and continued my pinecone & white pumpkin theme that seems to be taking over this fall. It’s all about simple, rustic, and neutral for me. The tiered tray is from Joss & Main last summer, it actually has a bottom piece also that I am currently using in my kitchen. It’s very large and wouldn’t have fit on this table anyways.
The white pumpkins are from Michaels, and I picked them up a few weeks ago during their big half off sale. The pinecones were given to me from my parents up in Washington (not many pinecones here in California). I baked them in the oven for 20 minutes at 200 degrees to kill all the bugs. Did you know you can do that? I saw it on Pinterest and thought it was genius! No bugs in my house! The small white acorns and burlap runner are from the Target Dollar Spot and the large acorns are from Marshall’s.
With our round table, I wanted the centerpiece to be same all the way around. No one side is better than the other, so keeping it simple made this easy. No matter where you sit, you’ll have a beautiful view. Also, because the table is small I placed the silverware in the center of the table. These silverware caddies were given to me at Christmas a few years ago from my mom. I’m not sure where she purchased them, but I’ve seen them at HomeGoods and online from Joss & Main.
The dishes are Target’s Threshold Square Rim Collection. I have the whole collection, but here I just used the square dinner plates and square rim bowl. The napkins are also from Target, and I picked those up on clearance a few years ago.
What do you think? Do you like creating tablescapes? This is my first time with a fall tablescape and I think I’m hooked now. Do you do tablescapes for the holidays? Share with me!
I love your tablescape! It looks beautiful! I have always enjoyed creating tablescapes. My problem is that when I create one I really, really like, I don't want to change it for the next season. Last year, I fixed my table with some cute new pumpkins and left them out all through Christmas! 🙂
Haha, I didn't want to remove this either!
