Since completing our master bedroom makeover a few weeks ago, I just felt this was the year I would finally decorate our bedroom for Christmas. I had always seen Christmas bedrooms on Pinterest but never got around to it these last couple years in our house. But this year was different, I finally did it!

I changed out our blue and white bedding for a gray sweater knit throw and gray shams. Keeping our duvet neutral and white makes it so much easier to switch out the bedding each season. My pillow from Porter Lane Home describes our room best – “merry and bright” 🙂
I wanted a tree for our room but a full size tree was out of the question. I found this pencil tree at Michael’s for less than sixty bucks. It’s the prefect size for a bedroom. I also got mini ornaments from Michaels in gray and white to match our bedding. Then I added the snowflakes of course.
On the other side of the room, I replaced my fiddle leaf stems for birch wood logs and glittery twigs. A deer head from Michaels and a driftwood candle are simple but still have that Christmas feel.
These little village houses from Target’s Dollar Spot this year are so adorable! I think I have some in every room. I love them so much, I’m even considering donating my old Christmas village. These are so much more simpler and classic.
More snowflakes and more snow globes. I’m not much of a collector, however I do buy a new snow globe each year. Right now I have about seven spread all over the house, so I can only imagine how many I will have in the future. Twenty? Forty?? 🙂
This cozy Christmas bedroom is probably my favorite room in our house right now. 🙂 I wish I could leave it like this all year! What do you think? Is a Christmas bedroom too much or just right?

This looks very pretty. It’s just the right touch!
Thank you Doris!
Love all of the Christmas touches! My husband has refused to let me decorate the bedroom, but I think one year I’ll “surprise” him with it all done up and see how he feels afterwards. LOL! Happy holidays, friend!
Haha! Good idea…
Love every detail!! Right down to the basket sitting on the floor next to the dresser?
Aw thanks! I’ve actually been thinking about getting rid of that! haha
