The book features many projects for beginners to advanced DIYers – from simple crafts like linen covered books or home improvement projects like farmhouse trim around a door. I literally could not decide what project I wanted to do first! I’ve made a list, but first I completed some simple book art and crafted mine with a Christmas twist.

If you have been following this blog for awhile, then you know I’m a HUGE fan of book art – see my other book projects like chalk painted books, using book bundles, and a round up for repurposing old books.
CHRISTMAS BOOK ART SUPPLIES:
- old book pages
- favorite image, quote, song lyric, OR get my FREE PRINTABLES
- printer, I used my HP Deskjet 3520
In A Touch of Farmhouse Charm, Liz did this project with a beautiful botanical photo but I wanted to create mine more appropriate for the holiday. This is such a quick and easy project, it would be great for any season, any image, and any room!
With my printer, I didn’t need to change any settings, but I did do a few test pages because I wasn’t sure how my printer would feed the book page through. The first time I tried, the wording on the page was upside down so just play around with it until it works. This works with any image you like, just be sure to print in black and white.
