I am SO EXCITED about our living room makeover with Joss & Main! I have been wanting to update our living room for quite awhile now and when I got the opportunity it was a dream come true!

Our sectional just wasn’t working for our living room anymore. Plus as I’ve mentioned before, anytime we had guests over or family & friends we all had to pile up together on the sofa to watch the game or tv. I love my family, but I don’t wanna sit that close to them all the time. 🙂 I wanted a furniture layout and space plan that gives just a few more seating options and a better furniture layout.
When I saw this sofa online at Joss & Main (also available at Wayfair), I knew it was perfect for our home. I’ve been searching and comparing sofas from many different brands and companies this past year and I had designs from each that I liked best. I knew I wanted a linen sofa with extra deep cushions, preferably down filled, and a light color. And this sofa meets ALL my wants!
I also love the two extra long seat cushions instead of three smaller ones. Plus those side arm pillows are everything! To be honest, this sofa reminds me of a more modern and less expensive version of the popular Restoration Hardware sofa. We will also have two matching over-sized armchairs, a his and hers, for ultimate tv watching.
For extra comfort and great design, mudcloth pillows from Danielle Oakey Shop add the perfect modern touch. I’ll also be updating all of our throw pillows to down filled….hello comfort city! Our living room is our sitting room, our family room, our den, our media room, etc all wrapped in one so comfort is at the top of the list. 🙂
I will also be updating our media console, creating a fun gallery wall, and doing a little DIY end table. We’ve got a new rug, also from Wayfair, and will eventually update our flooring to match our Pergo flooring in the master bedroom.
