Now that Fall is officially in effect, I did what I do every season and switched out our doormat. As each season changes, I like to switch it up, re-decorate, and add decor. I kept my favorite Home Sweet Home mat and added a plaid outdoor rug underneath for some gorgeous layering. For now, a few faux pumpkins do the trick until our local grocery store gets more in stock. I usually wait until the middle of October, because it’s so hot here in California the pumpkins won’t last until Halloween. Boo!

I love how some are funny, some are simple, and to the point, and others are just so welcoming. I prefer a little sass with my welcome mat.
