Once again, I kept it simple and used items I already had around the house and decorations from last year. These bats were an easy DIY that I’ll have year after year. Candles instantly become spooky around Halloween time, but are something we have in our home all year round.

Near the TV, I created a vignette that looks like a spell is about to be cast on an unsuspecting victim with more candles and a DIY spell book. Using my friend Chloe from Boxwood Avenue printables and my computer, I added text in a cursive font to make them look like book pages and printed them out. Then using double sided tape, I taped down the “pages” in a book I already have. This project was totally FREE!
In the dining room, Mr. Bones has his dinner by candlelight. But, don’t forget he’s there when getting a glass of water in the middle of the night. Eeeeek! Scared me! You can see more of our Halloween dining room HERE.
HALLOWEEN NIGHT TOUR
I created a fun little video of the Halloween Night Tour with my favorite Halloween song! 🙂 I can’t wait for all the little trick or treaters this year!
What do you think? Did you enjoy a night tour? Share with me!
Loved the decoration! Like you said, it’s simple, but I think it’s filled with little details (like the open book).
