Two days in the kitchen was pretty intense, right? This whole challenge will be different for everyone. I needed two days in the kitchen but maybe you only needed one and will need two days for clothing storage instead. Closets, dresser drawers, and that chair in the corner all get full of clothes very quickly in our house. And if I’m trying to find something to wear, it all ends up on the floor! DAY 7 – ORGANIZING THE CLOSET + DRESSER
I donated a lot of clothes (four large trash bags worth) that no longer fit or that I knew I would never wear again. Some of them even still had tags! I love fashion and browsing Pinterest for cute outfits, but I’m just a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal. I would rather spend money on a great pair of jeans than a fancy pair of heels. Check out the Shop my Style page to see some of my favorites!
Like everything else in our house, the storage space in our closet is just okay. I have big plans for a closet makeover one day, but at least for now it’s cleaned out. The area that needed the most help was my dresser! Since our master bedroom update involved getting rid of one huge dresser and only using our dresser nightstands, I had to get it together!
Drawer inserts help keep smaller items such as socks and undergarments contained. Tank tops and leggings are folded and placed vertically so I can pull them out easily.
