Fall is just around the corner and I AM READY. The morning air has been a little crisper lately, and yesterday I actually wore a sweater! I’m sharing 5 of my favorite posts that will get you and your house ready for fall – from decor, pillow combinations, doormats, recipes, and a tablescape perfect for an autumn get together with friends and family.
NEW PILLOWS
I shared over 30 different affordable pillow covers, perfect for fall. I also shared different combinations of each for a white sofa, dark sofa, or a leather sofa. Pillow covers are my favorite way to switch up the decor for each season. It’s easy and doesn’t cost a lot of money or take up storage space.
NEW FALL/HALLOWEEN WELCOME MAT
A quick way to update your front door and the front porch is layered doormats. I shared 15 of my favorite doormats with funny and clever sayings for fall or Halloween. And if you’re in the mood to DIY, I also have a post on how to create your own custom doormat.
ADD FALL FOILAGE
One of my favorite fall home tours and favorite fall images right in this post. Adding these faux stems to our dining room was the perfect touch to our home. It was back in 2017 right after we installed new floors and I added custom wall treatments to our entry and dining room.
BAKE MINI PUMPKIN PIES
I make these mini pumpkin pies every year and they are our favorite. It’s an easy recipe that anyone can do and they are perfect for at home or if you need something to take to a party or get together. Or check out my easy slow cooker Thanksgiving recipe to satisfy your stuffing and green beans craving!
CREATE A NEUTRAL FALL TABLESCAPE
Another favorite for fall and Thanksgiving is my neutral tablescape with muted cinderella pumpkins. The blue and green pumpkins are different but still neutral enough for me, and oh so beautiful! Our dining room went from simple to sophisticated and it’s perfect for a beautiful dinner.
Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. Most of the time, fall doesn’t exist very long in California so I soak up every minute. And even if it doesn’t feel like fall outside, at least my house can.
