It’s week 5 of the One Room Challenge and as usual, this is the week where I’m absolutely hating myself for joining the challenge and feeling the pressure to finish. Wondering to myself why I signed up for this yet again and promising myself not to do it next season. Spoiler alert, we all know I will. All that’s left to finish our guest bath is finish painting the vanity, install and paint the baseboards, and finish touch up paint on the walls and ceiling. Seems easy enough right? It’s exciting to finally see my design board all starting to come together. Last weekend, I finally finished the floor. Below is a screenshot from a video I shared on Instagram as I finished. It’s now grouted and ready to go. I installed the new shower curtain rod, but need to hem the bottom of the curtain a little bit. It’s super tall, at 108 inches, and does a great job covering the builder-grade shower surround.
I started painting the vanity today using Rustoleum’s Cabinet Transformations and following an easy tutorial from my friend Jen at Making Pretty Spaces. I have another long work week, so I’ll be painting every night when I get home so I can finish our guest bath on time for the reveal next week! Can’t wait!
