Last weekend, I put up our new Christmas tree but with just lights for now. As it gets closer to Thanksgiving, I will add ornaments, garland, etc, and finish it up. I love the glow of twinkle lights and just couldn’t wait any longer to start decorating. And if you’re ready to deck the halls, I’ve rounded up my favorite Christmas decor inspiration! This view definitely looks different from last years, now with the built-ins, and soon to be finished fireplace. I shared my plans for the built-ins and fireplace earlier this year and months later I’m finally finishing it up. This faux fireplace I built last Christmas confirmed that we definitely needed a fireplace in our home and I’m so glad it’s happening now. Update: check out the new DIY fireplace and DIY mantel with storage!
Sadly, our kitchen makeover didn’t get completed this year but I will still be decorating it again for Christmas. Last year, the holiday decor made it feel so warm and welcoming. The perfect place to bake and cook for the season. As always, my village houses will be making an appearance too!
I love having Christmas in our bedroom. Last year it was simple with dark green pillows and black & white accents. The year before was a little more farmhouse with neutrals and linen. Sometimes we have a tree in here and sometimes we don’t. But it’s so beautiful when we do! I haven’t decided what to do this year yet, but greenery and twinkle lights are a must.
I hope I can inspire you to deck the halls this year with my Christmas decor inspiration. Below I’ve linked a few of my favorite neutral holiday decor!
