It has been a big week for our master bedroom update! I FINALLY was able to sort out and complete the DIY upholstered channel headboard and start to style our bedding. I still have one more detail I would like to add to the bed before the reveal, but I am loving it so far.

I also completed an update to our existing nightstands that I will share more about next week. Changing the hardware and staining them again, totally changed the look and vibe of the whole room. It’s proof you don’t have to buy new furniture to get a different look!
I’m also glad I decided to keep our wall scones. I’ve always loved them and didn’t feel the need to get rid of something I love. Plus, they still look great in the room and we love their functionality. They don’t take up a lot of space and provide excellent accent lighting. We use them every night while watching tv or browsing on our phones.
I’ve added two more items to the to-do list. They include finishing up the small details. Like moving over one of the wall sconces to be aligned with the other and adding a wood detail to our headboard. I also need to repaint the window trim, door trim, and baseboards.
TO-DO LIST:

- new gallery wall with a mix of vintage art
- new decor, duvet, and accessories
- small details
- update paint on trim and baseboards
