Just like any other paint colors, whites can be hard. Some are too yellow, some too blue. And there is nothing worse than a dingy white that can look dirty. Since sharing my favorite grays, I’ve been getting quite a few requests for my favorite whites. I use Valspar throughout our home so, I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite Valspar whites.
Ultra White is my most favorite. I have used it almost everywhere in our home. It is on our baseboards, trim on doors and windows, built-ins, fireplace, board and batten in the dining room, and paneled wall in the living room. Our guest room is painted entirely in Ultra White. It’s so bright and beautiful, and my favorite room in the house.
I am even planning on painting all of our ceilings in the house to Ultra White. Right now, they are a creamy builder white. And I think Ultra White will help brighten everything up. So while it’s obvious Ultra White is my favorite, I’ve also tested out a few others.
FAVORITE VALSPAR WHITES
- Du Jour
- Bistro White
- Dove White
- Antique White
- Fresh Cotton
- Cream Delight
- Snowcap White
- Swiss Coffee
And just like with any paint color, getting samples before buying is very important. Depending on your home, lighting in each room, different times of the day, etc whites can look very different. How it appears online, in someone else’s home, on the swatch, and in the store will not be the same.
These are the tried and true Valspar whites. Even the paint swatches are beautiful. I’ve seen many of these colors in other bloggers’ homes and they are stunning. The perfect whites. While Ultra White is my favorite, Bistro White is a close second. It’s softer and warmer, without being too yellow or creamy.
