Sharing my favorite free art prints for Fall! I’ve shared many free art ideas in the past and now I have another free art idea to share. I wish I would have known about this before I created my original list of 5 ideas, but this is the best-kept secret. You can download free art from the Smithsonian and The Metropolitan Museum of Art! You can search the websites for collections, artists, exhibitions, mediums, or types. I browsed through the watercolors and oil paintings and found the ones that I thought were perfect for fall. Landscapes full of trees, fields, and cloudy skies with warm and vibrant colors. Click through below to go to the website and download each!
one | two | three | four | five | six | seven | eight | nine | While browsing for prints to use in our home, I found many that I liked. I ultimately chose six and eight to put together because they had a lot of the same colors and tones. Another great tip to remember is that if you find one print that you like, you can find more by the same artist by searching his or her name. That way you can create a collection that has similar painting styles and colors.
The downloads can be printed at many different locations like Costco or Staples, but my favorite is Walgreens because they always have a sale going on. But if you have a really good photo printer, you could always print at home too. I put them into my favorite frames and hung them with Command picture hanging strips.
Free art prints are a great way to bring a little color and warmth into decorating for Fall without needing pumpkins or a lot of decor items. It’s an instant change and doesn’t cost much.
