I admit that as much I love decorating for Christmas, Thanksgiving and all that food is my true favorite. It always has been since I was a kid. I couldn’t wait for the day to stuff my face with the best food. So before our home gets all decked out for Christmas, I’m sharing a little bit of our Thanksgiving kitchen decor. I recently finished our open kitchen shelves and I love being able to mix decor with our everyday dishes. We keep the everyday items on the lowers shelves and the serving dishes that don’t get used as much are up top. I was able to mix gray and white dishes, as well as glass and decor.

And I love these smoke-colored glasses. I added a couple of pumpkins that are also serving dishes when needed. Linen napkins wrapped in leather twine and a leaf-shaped platter would be perfect as a simple centerpiece.
And if you are having a more casual Thanksgiving this year instead of a big celebration. The kitchen decor transfers easily into a simple place setting and tablescape. With plenty of room for all the best Thanksgiving side dishes!
