Continuing on the holiday house tour with our simple Christmas dining room. In case you missed it, I already shared our entryway and living room. I shared the plans for our dining room in my simple Christmas styling guide post and I’m happy I stuck with them. Sometimes, only adding a few items seems like it’s not enough. But luckily, I’ve really begun to love and appreciate simple decor, even during the holidays. (post contains affiliate links, see disclosure)
Because our main living areas – entry, living, dining, and kitchen, are all open to each other I kept all the decor very minimal. Especially here in the dining room. I added a prelit garland to the black chandelier. Earlier this year, I updated our dining chairs to black and I love the warmth they add. They compliment our linen chairs perfectly.
Usually, I add my Christmas village as a centerpiece to the table. But this year I decided to add a collection of trees. I used some that I already had and added a few new ones. I love these light-up ceramic trees from World Market. I wanted to create a mix of white, wood, gold, and silver. I already had some smaller trees, and I used Rub ‘n Buff to make them gold. The wood trees are from the Studio McGee collection at Target. And the other white trees are also from Target. It’s so fun and whimsical and I love this little collection.
Our simple Christmas dining room might be one of my favorite rooms on the holiday house tour so far. This dining room has changed so much over the years, and I just feel like it keeps getting better. Stay tuned for the kitchen and bedroom tours later this week!
