Large rustic planters are the new go-to for faux and real plants in home decor. The bigger the pot, the better. The more aged it looks, the better. And I love the look of all of them. There are lots of DIYs to even make your own, like this one from Jenna Sue Design. Prices vary from very expensive to the lower end. But, I rounded up a few affordable favorites! When I completed the makeover in our primary bedroom, I added this large planter and faux olive tree. I DIYed a stand for the tree inside the pot and then filled it with real dirt so it appears more realistic. I still love this little corner of the room and have thought about recreating this pot and plant in another room of the house.

Pottery barn also has lots of large rustic planters, like this one and this one. But I found a lot of great planters at Home Depot that are very affordable. This one and this one are the perfect shapes and I love the neutral colors!
