Are you willing to spend $80 – $300 on a throw pillow or cover? I’m not. I love the look of high-end pillows but can never justify the high cost. So I found 16 affordable designer pillows that are $30 or less and can give you the same look for a fraction of the price. (post contains affiliate links, see disclosure)

one | two | three | four | five | six | seven | eight | nine | ten | eleven | twelve | thirteen | fourteen | fifteen | sixteen | A linen stripe is always a classic and a great pattern for pairing. I love the vintage textile patterns on this one and this one. The small fringe on this one is a great texture. And the texture is a must when keeping pillow pairings neutral.
I love ordering affordable “designer” pillows from H&M home. I was able to order six covers for less than $80 dollars including shipping. So I got six for the price of one high-end. My favorite combination is two squares and a lumbar. And usually two solids and a pattern.
Years ago I purchased down feather inserts for all of our accent pillows and now just purchase covers. It’s affordable, takes up less storage, and makes rotating for the seasons and holidays much easier. And remember that if a pillow cover is 20×20 the pillow should be 22×22 for a full look.
Another great tip and something I do frequently is to check the sale or clearance tab on my favorite websites. Pottery Barn always has throw pillow covers on sale. And they are usually 50-60% off. So, you can still get the high-end look and not have to spend a lot of money. Plus, I think the affordable pillows are easier to clean and maintain than the high-end vintage ones.
