Are sectionals coming back in style? Lately, when I see a new gorgeous design posted by Amber Interiors or Studio Mcgee, it almost always includes a sectional. But these aren’t the 90’s sectionals we all donated to Goodwill. They are elevated, stunning, and updated. So I rounded up 9 of my favorite modern sectionals and chaise sofas. one | two | three | four | five | six | seven | eight | nine | Each of these sofas are available in custom fabrics. I personally like the sectionals with bench cushions. I feel like it’s a huge upgrade from the older version of a sectional that can look too busy and overwhelming with so many cushions. I also the wooden legs, it gives the sectional some height and makes it feel less heavy in the room. So this one and this one are my favorites. And if you don’t have space for a sectional, a chaise sofa is a great option too.
Joe and I had a brown microfiber sectional (with recliners on each end) when we moved into our house. It was the most comfortable sofa but didn’t match my design style that started developing. We now have these modern gray recliners and white sofa, but still talk about getting a sectional again. We are late-night tv watchers and weekend movie marathoners, so us both being able to lay on the sofa would be great. So, I might be looking at modern sectionals or chaise sofas myself!
