An interior design graduate with a passion for DIY and decorating . I believe in simple decor, organization and affordability.
Sharing what I’ve learned over the years to help others achieve simplicity in their own homes has made Designed Simple truly become a passion of mine.
DESIGNED SIMPLE
The business began as a blog in 2014 when moving into my California home. The blog quickly became an outlet for sharing DIYs and decorating tips on how to customize a new builder grade home.
The blog kept growing with more room makeovers and DIY projects. And it has allowed me to build wonderful relationships with brands and companies over the years. Getting to decorate with Joss & Main, designing custom barn doors with Rustica Hardware, and installing Pergo flooring throughout the home are just a few of my favorite partnerships.
Almost 10 years later, I moved across the country to my home state of Arkansas and purchased a 1974 rambler that I’m currently renovating. It has always been my dream to remodel an entire home and I’m finally doing it!
Design and decor have never stopped being a love of mine, and I can’t wait to share all the updates in this new home. I feel blessed to be able to have two great homes to share here on the blog- one a new build that I customized, and now one completely taken down to the studs.

SHOP DESIGNED SIMPLE
In 2021, I launched Shop Designed Simple. I wanted to create a decor collection that made decorating a home simple and effortless. A curated collection that was both pretty and practical with each piece complimenting the other to obtain a simplified but put together approach to design.
The shop began online with just a few pieces and now has expanded to over 400 items in our inventory.
Since moving to Arkansas in early 2023, the main shop is now a small boutique in West Little Rock. And in August that same year, I also opened in Kansas City. The goal is to have three locations, so I’m always looking for the next!
The shop is so much fun and quickly becoming one of my favorite aspects of Designed Simple. I enjoy creating vignettes, chatting with customers, and displaying new items each season.
