a few BEFORE and *almost* AFTER pics 😅💁🏼‍♀️ I hav a few BEFORE and *almost* AFTER pics 😅💁🏼‍♀️

I have really wanted to get back into Designed Simple, blogging and sharing all about the Rambler Reno. But with so many changes to social media, not having the motiviation to write a blog post every week, or the time to consistently share in stories - I am overwhelmed every time I think about it. I also don’t know where to start with this renovation that started almost 2 years ago. I want to share the (almost) completed rooms, but feel like I’m starting in the middle and my perfectionism won’t let me “just start”.

I used to have an email subsriber list called “Insiders” where I shared all the sneak peeks to upcoming posts, diy projects, etc. And while I’m not ready to commit to an email series again, I’ve started a broadcast channel of the same name. I’m excited to share a look at the inside of a real life renovation without it having to be Instagram worthy or Pinterest perfect. Join the Insiders channel for snipets and behind the scenes of this new adventure for Designed Simple!

ins & outs list for this rambler reno! 🖤✨ I love ins & outs list for this rambler reno! 🖤✨

I loved my California house but I was already making design changes to it before I moved, so this time I’m being more intentional with my choices and leaning more traditional.

What are some of your must haves and trends you no longer care for?

I am obsessed with the vintage inspired bowl and marble bookends! They were heavy and good quality.

It has been awhile since I’ve posted but I am so h It has been awhile since I’ve posted but I am so happy to finally share a new house project for Designed Simple!

After a long wait and a few obstacles, I finally purchased a 1974 rambler. It is just over 2100 sq ft with all the original carpets, wallpaper, and paneling. I’ve been working hard at demo, design plans, managing contractors, making lots of decisions, and everything between.

Follow along because it’s time to start putting this house back together and I can’t wait to share more of this journey! 🤍
I was not planning on making a 2023 recap, because I was not planning on making a 2023 recap, because this year I have had some of the highest highs and the lowest lows.

But after creating this video, I’m realizing that moving and making these big changes for myself and in my life has been everything I ever wanted.

It’s slowly but surely getting there and I can’t wait to see what 2024 has to offer. 🫶🏻✨
