Happy Tuesday! I’ve been thinking about a way to add some more style to my office area and I think I’ve found the perfect solution. I call it my office area because it’s not a dedicated room – its actually an awkward angel in our hall way that was meant to have cabinets. The cabinetry was an upgrade that we couldn’t afford when we were in the process of building our house and now I’m so glad that we didn’t go for it. I love my little office and I’ve been spending so much time here lately (sitting here now) working on blog posts, e-designs, and lately articles for Everything Home Magazine. My existing black metal chair from Target has been getting uncomfortable. As I’ve been looking at some new chairs, I think a fabulous chair will be a perfect way to punch up the space.
I knew I wanted a chair with a high back, a unique shape, and some fabulous detail – whether it be the fabric or some nailhead trim. All of these chairs meet that mark and I love them all. I’ve always been obsessed with chairs and as Joe says – we have more chairs in our house then butts to fill them, haha. Oh well, I’m adding another one.

Choosing a chair that’s comfortable with a great design and interesting back detail is exactly what I’m looking for. I’ve narrowed my choices down and one of my favorites is the TOV Tribeca Arm Chair. I’m familiar with TOV furniture and love my Devon Wingback in our living room.
Not only does it make a bold statement, it will also tie in nicely with my existing industrial style decor. The black nailhead and distressed legs will match my shelving perfectly. Plus, I can pull it into the living room when we need extra seating.
As I kept on browsing, I found another great option – also from TOV and it’s the Lund Arm Chair. It’s the perfect mix of everything I wanted – unique shape & design, nailhead, and interesting back detail. If you look at my original board, this chair is kind of a mix of all five.
This chair has a fabulous pattern, distressed legs, and gorgeous leather. The black will tie in with my existing decor and the pattern is the perfect punch to bring some interest to the space. The chair is just a little bit smaller than the others and might fit better when pushed under my desk. But honestly I don’t like to push chairs in anyways, so I’m not worried.
