Every season, I like to switch out the candle in our home with a scent that makes our house smell clean, welcoming, and cozy. From spring to fall, I have all of my favorites for each season. I’m very picky about my candles. Not only do they have to smell great (obviously) but they have to look good too. So, I’m sharing 9 candles for fall to make you and your home ready to get cozy! one | two | three | four | five | six | seven | eight | nine | Sweater Weather is definitely my favorite choice when choosing candles for fall. However, I’m never a fan of the jar design. So, I usually put my candle in this marble container to hide the design or I peel off the label. The Hearth & Hand candle smells beautiful, but it is not very strong. I personally love stronger smelling candles, but it’s still a great candle to burn throughout the day.
The secret to a great candle and to make it last longer is a wick trimmer. Use it before every burn, and then depending on the size of the candle, check the burn time. For smaller candles, burn at least 2 hours and for larger 3-wick candles burn for at least 4 hours. Again it all depends on the size of the candle, but make sure it burns to the edges of the jar to prevent creating a wax tunnel in the middle. This way, you will get an even burn and use most of your candle wax.
