With all the new items that keep being released at Target, I almost cannot contain myself. So, in an effort to not totally redecorate my entire living room, I decided to create a design board. I put together a budget living room design that is approximately $1600 in total. Not bad for an entire room! (post contains affiliate links, see disclosure)
I’ve really been loving more classic and sophisticated designs lately and want to incorporate that into my own home. This design has such a great neutral palette that it would work all year round. A beautiful gray rug, ivory feather sofa, and light wood coffee table create a great base for any decor style. And every room needs a little bit of black, so this media cabinet is perfect! A beautiful accent chair, some art, and faux greenery are some simple touches that make the space feel lived in and loved.
I loved creating this budget living room design board! Especially when the ideas just start floating around in my head. It’s almost like I’ve got to get it “down on paper” to finally let it go. I can create the design, hope someone else loves it, and move on without having to have it in my own home!
