I used a lamp we already had because I wasn’t sure if I was going to be on board with this new trend. But surprisingly, I ended up liking it. I did use a smaller lampshade for a better scale. It’s perfect for those dark winter days and adds a little coziness to the kitchen. Especially, if you don’t have sconces or another accent lighting already.

I also love how they have a vintage pottery look to them and come in many different colors. My favorite of course is the black or white color. This lamp is thinner but equally beautiful and a little more classic. And also available in black or brass. And this lamp is the mini version of this popular Studio McGee lamp.
Overall, I think this is a great trend especially when the lamp can be mixed with other vintage details. I like decorating the kitchen with more home decor that is used throughout the rest of the house. Art, vessels, house plants, etc. instead of all the kitchen appliances and knife blocks. Yay for cozy kitchens!

What are your thoughts about the cords? Because they look fantastic not plugged in, but then you have to plug them in! Lamps should come with pretty braided cords or something, and definitely with a flat plug. Thanks for the roundup!
