As I’m planning my decorating for this season, I’m really drawn to dark colors. I loved the dark and moody vibe of my Halloween decorating earlier this year and want to carry on those colors. I’m thinking dark brown, bronze, gold, and even a little black. I created a mood board with images from my favorite magazines and love this color scheme even more. At the end of the post, I’ve rounded up a lot of warm neutral Christmas decor available to shop! (post contains affiliate links, see disclosure)
Black isn’t a normal color for Christmas, but my black & white color scheme from 2017 is still one of my favorites. I’m definitely more drawn to a modern Christmas than a traditional one. And my “Charlie Brown” tree still has my heart. I’ve used it a lot over the years and I plan to use it again.
For me, it’s not Christmas until my white village houses are displayed and this year will be no different. I’ve also started a little collection of trees that I love to display around the house. It’s a quick way to add some simple holiday decor without it feeling too overwhelming. I can’t wait to get started!
