This time of year is the best! I’ve always loved gift giving and to make it just a little more personal I like to DIY my wrapping paper. I keep it simple with craft paper and twine, but for something extra special I love to use stamps.

DIY WRAPPING PAPER SUPPLIES:
- craft paper
- scissors
- double sided tape
- twine or ribbon, I got mine from Target’s One Spot
- stamps, I used Paper Afternoon handmade stamps
- ink
Wrap gift just like you would with regular wrapping paper, but use the craft paper instead. Then with the stamp and ink create your own design. Or use a marker to create any design you like. Check out this post to see how to create a modern mud cloth design. That’s it! Easiest tutorial ever right?
I also like to add in some regular wrapping paper like this glittery bronze paper from at Target. Pre-made bows and ribbons are also fun for extra embellishments and style.
I like to keep craft paper for gifts because I can use it for anything – Christmas, birthdays, anniversary, Valentines, etc. I just use different stamps, ribbon and design. It’s a lot easier than running to the store for wrapping paper for every occasion. Plus, I don’t have to worry about storing multiple rolls of different types of wrapping paper!
