Another room, another update! Last week I updated our black Windsor chairs and it made such a difference to the room. I personally like simple dining room decor – its beautiful, functional, and always ready for a great meal. I also did a little DIY to our existing vase to give it a more vintage look. Just a few updates, like these linen chairs, and now it has a totally different vibe. It feels warmer, more sophisticated, but it is still the simple style I love. Before, I always felt my style was a little bit juvenile. I liked it but it never “felt” right. Making small changes all around the house lately is really making a big difference.
I’d still like to replace our faux wood blinds with white Roman shades like the ones in our guest bedroom. And somewhere in the future, Joe and I have decided to add two more windows to the left. A mirror image to the large windows on the right. It would help brighten up this side of the house and our kitchen. Can you see it? It would be a dining room full of windows and a dream come true.
It is so satisfying how small updates make such a big difference. A few simple dining room decor updates and I feel like we have a brand new house!
